Finse TS

The Finnish Tolkien Society is run by a committee which is elected on a yearly basis. We have two publications: Hobittilan Sanomat (Hobbiton News), our newsletter, which comes out four times a year, and Legolas, the best and the only magazine in Finland focusing solely on fantasy literature, which is also published four times a year. We organize official meetings at least three times each year. In addition to this, monthly meetings are held in larger cities. These meetings involve refreshments, conversation, games and, of course, Tolkien. We also have active local divisions, called Smials all over Finland.
